There is a tag for youtube vids that can be used to embed.
Instead of using the embed code provided by youtube, just copy
the url at the top of your browser page once on the page of the
vid you would like to embed.
Either
Paste, then highlight the text, then click on the tag for youtube
(The tag is the first icon on the second line of the "Add Tags:"
section when posting a message.
)
or...
Paste the text and wrap it manually with [ youtube][/youtube]
minus that space after the first bracket.
