For the Picture Challenge and Inspired by Music Exercise(After hitting play, pause to give it a few seconds to let it load ) The song is Any Other Name by Thomas Newman from the American Beauty soundtrack.  Soulful, Mournful(tumbling tercets) uncertainty guides my fingers gently tracing broken chords and heady silence. dare I dwell on mournful moments, hesitate on the tracks of my tears... or give ear to a soulful resonance whilst learning to breathe. hearing lyrics within... insistent... awakening clarity. © 2009 SilentDream (All rights reserved) 10/22/09

Broken Keys

asking myself why

even after screaming at the top of my lungs
this life of mine
I hate so so much
I once had it all
a band
a cute girl to call mine
even some fans
one day
somehow it all caved in
I had not a clue
what to do
I lost it all
and took a fall
now all I have left
are these broken keys

it seems to resemble what my life is
broken
discarded
ignored
even more
alas
it feels good
to find one who I can relate to
now if only
I could use it
to get back
what I once had.........

all I did was stare at it and I saw a part of myself there.
Anyways, I need to get writting, I am aiming to do a presentation in my graphics class where I talk about my poetry and do a demonstration all in 10 mins in my class.........

I could tell that you saw yourself in the picture. Wonderful job! The presentation sounds very interesting. Do you have an ideas on what piece you might feature or do you think you'll be working on something new? Either way I know you'll do great! |
