Just for fun
Black Death
Beside the water I die As I sit Remembering, drifting
To a place Lost within Filled of Wishes, hopes, and dreams
The fog Consumes the Tears and Desperation of my eyes
As I cast All hope Into the vast Blackness of the night

Geez girl. That's some kind of good darkness. =) (And you know I love my dark!)
Favorite thing about this is the title and how it ties in perfectly with your lines and the thoughts of sitting by the water and the fog consuming tears and desperation. How could the water not be dark after that slow death, y'know? Niiiiice!

something thrown together just for fun since I'm hosting this Your silence fills the space left vacant by your absence and insistence caresses my toes bidding for acquiescence

yeah.... nvr intentional tho. the needing of a thesaurus thing, that is. I read recently tho that poets look for the "right" words. Sometimes, I gotta go for the ones that Completely capture what I saying. Y'know? I'll find the complete quote and work on a new "news" header.
