The default skin for In Other Words is the Parchment skin. There are other options though. Just go into Profile > Modify Profile. Scroll down to Account Preferences and the option Select Skin has a drop down menu. Right now the themed skins are: Butterflies Color Darkness Darkness2 Music Parchment Simplicity Spoken Word Spoken Word (Blank Page) (If interested in seeing your work used as the background image for the Spoken Word skin, please scan your handwritten piece and send the image to me. I'll have them on a continuous rotation.) As new skins are added, I'll modify this post to add the theme to the list. Thanks so much  |

hmmm.......... perhaps we can use non-scanned images or drawings that we have done ourselves on the comp?

the scanned handwritten piece would be for the spoken word skin. but I'm interested in other creative outlets, that's for sure I actually wanted to do one for Graphic Design... It got put on hold for some reason. send something my way! I'm ready to work on a new skin |

bump Back to norm now. Just wanted to briefly showcase a different skin as a reminder that there are other choices. Will be working on Photography and Graphic Design special interest skins soon! question: why not do your favorite artist/band? hmmmm.... music in general would be a good option to look into. anything that inspires creativity and what we write... right? ;D I wouldnt go with My fave or any one genre even. Because everyone's tastes vary. I would want to find a way to be as inclusive as possible. I'm going to be playing with some ideas for the new skins this weekend! Hopefully I'll have something up for you to preview soon |

To see the other skin options, just go into Profile > Modify Profile.
